In terms of the family, benefits are really good. If a resident visa is approved, children of school age will be like any other local student in terms of fees, etc. In terms of tertiary study, once they become residents they will also be local students and the only difference that I am aware of is they would not be able to use the student loan system until after two years of residency.

What are the educational benefits of a New Zealand investor visa?
I wish to invest in New Zealand and move my family of three children there. What kind of educational benefits are eligible for us? What about college or university?

If you are granted a resident visa under investor category, your children should be entitled to government-funded education for primary, secondary and the first year of tertiary education.
