It is possible for people who are determined by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to have employed at least 50 people, to acquire Turkish citizenship. In other words, a person who is not a Turkish citizen can qualify for Turkish citizenship if they provide employment opportunities to at least 50 people living in Turkey with a business in Turkish territory. After the employment of 50 people, a certificate of conformity will be required. Applications related to this subject are evaluated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, General Directorate of International Labor Force. Therefore, the minimum wage to be paid to the worker should be equal to the minimum wage accepted at that time in Turkey. This matter will be examined by the Ministry. Currently, the net minimum monthly wage in Turkey is 4,250 Turkish liras.

What are the minimum salary requirements when foreigners apply for CBI by providing employment in Turkey?
I've heard investors must show a minimum of 50 people on their payroll when applying for CBI by providing employment in Turkey, but an investor can choose to pay them as little as they want as their salaries. Is that true? Or do investors have to meet a salary threshold amount?

The salaries cannot be less than the minimum wage; the payroll records should be submitted at the beginning of the application and need to be maintained until the process is finalized (six to eight months).
