What are the nationality / background limitations to Malaysia’s residency by investment programs?

I’m part Jewish and my father has an Israeli passport but not me. Could I apply for Malaysia’s premium visa program or would that be an obstacle?

There are no religious or ethnic restrictions placed on applicants for the Malaysia Premium Visa Programme. The programme is open to all nationalities that have diplomatic ties with Malaysia and at present, only individuals with Israeli and North Korean nationalities are excluded from participating in the PVIP visa programme. As such, there would be no obstacle for you to apply to the programme if you do not hold an Israeli passport as long as you can fulfill the PVIP requirements.
