We strongly recommend you opt for the fast-track option (one year) instead of for the semi-fast-track (5 years). In this case, you will be able to apply for Bulgarian citizenship as soon as 12 months after your permanent residency status is approved. Otherwise, and back to your original question, if you opt to wait for a whole five years, your dependents will not have "full access" to the job market. The same applies to tuition and fees, which will be dependent on many other factors. But in all cases, your dependents will not have the same opportunities as "full citizens."

What benefits can my dependents enjoy in Bulgaria if I am a permanent resident?
I know that investors need to wait for five years until they are eligible to apply for citizenship of Bulgaria. What benefits do my dependents have during this period? For instance, do my children still need to pay international student-level tuition and fees as a permanent resident? Do my dependents have full access to the job market?
