What flexibility do I have in terms of working, living and traveling among EU countries if I become a Golden Visa holder of Portugal?
I want to apply for a Golden Visa of Portugal. I was told that Portugal’s golden visa residence permit grants non-EU nationals the same treatment as Portuguese citizens. I would like to know what flexibility I could enjoy in terms of working, living and travelling.

Portugal’s Golden Visa grants non-EU nationals the same treatment as Portuguese citizens. Golden Visa holders shall be entitled for five years to the following: enter and remain in Portugal; travel in other countries within the Schengen area without needing a visa; family reunification, allowing the closest kin of the applicant to benefit from the same advantages conferred to him/her, creating new opportunities in their lives; simultaneously benefit from the Golden Visa and the Non-Habitual Resident Status (NHR); access the permanent residence permit in Portugal at the end of the five years; apply to the Portuguese nationality at the end of the five years.
