The certificate of registration is one of the required documents for business travelers’ visa applications. The certificates are issued to receiving organizations in Japan through an online system organized by the Health Ministry. In other words, business travelers need to have a recipient company in Japan to submit both, the visa and the certificate applications. The certificates should be obtained before arrival and visa application. This procedure is just a temporary measure which can be subject to change with a short notice.
