What types of real estate investments are eligible for the Spanish residency-by-investment program?
I am interested in some remote real estate, possibly to use for future development. Provided this meets the minimum amount, can I receive a resident permit through this acquisition to live in Spain? What types of property are permitted?

The law establishes that the investment can be made in real estate in general, so it is possible to make the investment also in real estate that is not intended for living, such as commercial premises, an office or even land. Also, it is important to notice that the investment in real estate can be made in one or several properties to obtain the investment visa with the minimum requirement of the investment if it is over 500,000 euros.
