Which residency permit option is better for Malaysia?

I just learned the Malaysia My Second Home program has been updated. I'm mostly concerned about the change in the Platinum option, as it's no longer permanent residency but a 20 year permit. Is it still a recommended option? Or should I opt for the Gold option, which provides a 15 year residency permit at a much cheaper price?
