The spouse and minor unmarried children age 16 or over can apply for family reunion visa/residency permit, if you hold a German residency permit for purpose of self-employment. The process would be: you set up a business/enterprise in Germany; you apply for German visa for purpose of self-employment; you apply for German residency permit for purpose of self-employment; your eligible family members apply for residency permit for purpose of family reunion; either minor children or unmarried adult children.
