Will I be able to keep my eligibility as a Maltese IIP participant given the potential changes to this program?
I obtained my Maltese passport last year through the IIP. Part of my investment is leasing a property with a monthly rent of 16,000 euros. With the discussion of the possibility of a new and more expensive IIP program, I am worried about my status in Malta. If the new program is launched with an increased investment threshold, will I be required to rent a more expensive property during the five-year retaining period in order to keep my eligibility?
