Will living half year in Greece affect my chance to obtain the residency visa?

I'm from Japan and I travel a lot for my export business. Lately, I've been thinking about residing in Europe for part of the year because of all the business I do there, and I've been studying Greece as it offers a reasonable golden visa compared to other countries. But I'm curious about the taxes I'd have to pay once I have the visa. Also, I won't be living in Greece all year, would that affect my chances of obtaining the visa?
