How could the U.S. yellow list affect my CBI application in Antigua and Barbuda? My other options were St. Kitts and Nevis, and St. Lucia, but they have also been placed in this list.
It's too early to know how any travel ban will affect travel. This "yellow list" is simply based on an internal draft that was leaked to the press so this list and any travel ban still need to be finalized and published before we make any conclusions about the matter.
At this time, the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis has stated that he has not received any official correspondence regarding the alleged yellow listing by the U.S. government. As such we cannot speculate and he assures us that his Ministry of Foreign Affairs are working jointly with the St Kitts and Nevis consulate in Washington DC if any issues arise regarding this matter.
The US yellow list is not definitive, as countries indicated in that list have up to 60 days to respond and fix said status. Therefore, we should wait for definitive answers.
