After Brexit, without an agreement, all British citizens will be able to apply for the gold visa as any non-European Union citizen. If Brexit is made by agreement, the conditions for British citizens will be defined and enforced in the agreement that will apply between the United Kingdom and the European Union. British citizens applying for a certificate of registration in Portugal until the date of Brexit will retain their right to enter and leave the European Union without any additional visa.
