Do I need to renew my residence permit in Turkey while my citizenship application is actively in progress?
I hold a Turkish residence permit and recently applied for citizenship after two residency renewals. I gave my biometrics today and was told I will be visited by the police then will be called for an interview in a few months. My residency card will expire in the meantime. Do I have to apply to extend my residency again? Or the fact that I applied for citizenship is enough to keep me legal?
