Can a family visa in Greece start the process for residency?
I will like to know if I can stay in Greece as a spouse to a UE citizen with a family visa for more than 90 days? And also if an extension of the visa can be used to apply for a residence permit?

As a spouse of an EU citizen, you are eligible for a 5-year residency. If your visa expires, you can ask for an expansion for another 90 days after proving you have 4,500 euros for your living expenses in Greece.
