The process of acquiring Vanuatu citizenship through the DSP program for Russian Nationals is the same as any other nationalities that are currently not restricted by the Vanuatu Government. The 1st step is to obtain the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit clearance to move onto the 2nd and 3rd steps, being the citizenship and passport applications. he 4th and last step is to perform an Oath of Allegiance if the citizenship is granted, and delivery of the passport. It is not possible at present to work or live in Europe as the European Union has temporarily suspended their visa free access for Citizens holding Vanuatu passports. If the visa waiver is reinstated, it is possible to travel to the EU without a visa for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
