How can I apply for citizenship for my parents after becoming a Turkish citizen?
I know that parents are not included in the beneficiary list of the Turkish CBI program. I want to know after I become a citizen via this program, when and how I can apply for citizenship for my parents through family-based immigration.

There is no regulation for your parents to get citizenship under your CBI program. Firstly, your parents must apply for the short term residence permit and then they must renew it for five years. After five years, they can apply for Turkish citizenship for continuous residence. Another way is they can apply for Turkish citizenship directly under the investment program.

Acquiring Turkish Citizenship through the CBI program confers to only those who match the requirements set forth in the law. Applicants and their spouses and descendants benefit from the program indirectly. However, the applicant’s parents cannot use the advantage of the program unless they fulfill the conditions in question by themselves. Turkish law does not comprise provisions which confer citizenships to the applicant’s parents directly or indirectly.

You can not apply for your parents for Turkish citizenship. Only the main applicant, spouse and children under 18 are eligible.

Unfortunately, the CBI program does not include parents. There is also no family immigration model offered for parents of citizens. The other option was to obtain temporary residence permits and renew them for five years and then make an application for citizenship based on continuous residence. However, this also is no longer available since tourist based temporary residence permits are no longer renewed after the first year. The best alternative is to purchase another real estate on their behalf allowing them to benefit from the CBI program themselves.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for the mother and father to apply for citizenship and residence permit depending on the family. However, if the conditions are available according to the law, it is possible to apply for a short-term residence permit or others. In this case, depending on the condition of five years uninterrupted residing in Turkey right back the date of application; citizenship applications can be made. In my opinion, it's more reasonable to apply for citizenship with real estate investment for the family in order not to waste time.

Once the naturalization process is completed, you may apply for your parents via a regular citizenship application provided that your parents live in Turkey for 5 years. Therefore your parents may apply to Turkish citizenship only after they have lived in Turkey for 5 years.

Yes, your understanding is correct that your parents are not included in the beneficiary list. What you can do is you may apply for resident permits for your parents on a yearly regular basis. After 5 years' residence without any interruption, your parents may apply for citizenship.

There is no citizenship program for the investor's parents. There are two ways to get citizenship for them. They need to invest $250.000 for themselves to apply for citizenship by investment. They can buy property for any value and we can apply for a resident permit by property for them. If they stay 5 years with the resident permit then we can apply for citizenship.
