My family obtained Malta residency through the MRVP program two years ago by investing in government bonds. The bond will mature in three years. Will we lose our residency when the bond matures? Are we eligible to apply for citizenship then?
You won't lose your residency when the bond matures as you have received. You are eligible to apply for citizenship. You may receive the Letter of Approval in Principle for the Maltese citizenship after 6 months from submitting your documents for due diligence as you are already resident in Malta.
