You can sell the property and make a new investment after, as long as you make an investment of equal or greater value than previously made.

How can I reinvest their funds during the 5-year investment period?
I know one has to maintain the investment for a five-year period for the Portuguese Golden Visa program. Does that prohibit the sale of my initial real estate purchase until five years later, or can I sell that property and reinvest the money in other real estate properties?
