How can investors gain residency by investment in Panama during the pandemic?

We are a young family with two kids. What options would you advise us if we want to gain residency by investment in Panama? Are there any special incentives for people from Hong Kong like one finds in the UK and Canada?

Panama has several residency-by-investment options, which require a physical visit to Panama to apply for the residency, by investing $100,000 in forestry programs; or $200,000 in real estate; or $300,000 in a fixed-term deposit. A recent Red Carpet Visa allows for remote residency application and permanent residency within 30 days via an investment of $300,000 in real estate, or $500,000 in regulated Panama securities.

Hong Kong citizens may also apply under the Friendly Nations Residency Program (same as British or Canadian citizens). This is the easiest of the residency permits available at the moment; however, recent changes to this residency program have just been approved, which will be enforced on Aug.18, delaying permanent residency for two years, and add additional labor or investment requirements. However, all residency applications filed before that will still be able to benefit from our current regulations.
