How many times can I extend my tier 1 investor visa?
I invested in the U.K. tier 1 investor visa about five years ago and have extended it once. I was not able to fulfill the accumulative residency requirements for an indefinite leave to remain. Now my extension is almost expired. How can I apply for an extension again? Will multiple extensions raise red flags to the Home Office?

So far there is no limit on how many times an applicant can extend his/her visa under the tier 1 investor scheme. However, you might wish to provide reasons for your absences and prove your intention to meet the requirement in the following three to five years. I suggest you seek legal advice before making the further extension application.

There is nothing to stop you applying again, provided you meet the immigration rules for leave to remain.

It is permissible to extend your tier 1 (investor) multiple times. There is no limit on how many extension applications can be made, so provided you have maintained your investment (and there are no other issues in relation to your application), your forthcoming extension application should not raise any red flags with the Home Office. You must, however, submit your extension application before your existing visa expires.
