Residency is not acquired automatically by investing in a company in Malta. However this may be possible through the injection of capital in the region of 500,000 euros. Residency can be acquired through investment programs such as the Malta Residence and Visa Program (MRVP) and Global Residence Program, if program eligible requirements are satisfied by the applicant.
