Should my citizenship application consider my first or second residency card?

I got my first Portuguese Temporary Residency card in November 2020 for one year. I didn't renew it because I wanted to convert it to a work permit. When I couldn't do that in two years, I renewed the student card, valid from 2024 to 2027. Now, my question is, if the 5-year PR count from the first residency card, then I should be able to apply in 2025. If it counts only the validity year of the residency card, then I can apply for citizenship in 2028. Which one is it?

For the nationality application, the 5 years start counting from the time you initiated your immigration process. For the Permanent Residence Card, the 5-year period starts counting from the issuance date of your first residence card.
