Under what conditions would the Maltese government withdraw an approved citizenship application?
I want to participate in the citizenship-by-investment program of Malta. I heard that Malta conducts a very strict due diligence on applicants, and approved applications could be withdrawn if the due diligence requirements are broken. Could you please elaborate on this? Under what conditions could an approved application be revoked?

The Maltese citizenship granted under the Individual Investor Program can be revoked if an applicant fails to comply with the requirements as highlighted in the Maltese Citizenship Act and Article 10 of the Legal Notice 47 of 2014.
