What are the military service obligations of naturalized Greek citizens?

I'm considering retirement options and Greece is one of them. I intend to live there with my family that includes my son who is now 9 years old. After I get the visa, I plan to live there until I can get the citizenship with my family. I'm only worried my son may be required to go into the military when he comes of age, which I definitely wouldn't want. So my question is whether military service is applicable to naturalized citizens and what can I do to make sure my son won’t end up in this situation.

All Greeks, from January 1 of the year in which they reach their nineteenth year until December 31 of the year in which they reach their forty-fifth year of age, are obliged to enlist in the Armed Forces, in accordance with the provisions of the respective law. The above provisions are applicable to those ones who were granted the Greek citizenship by naturalization. The exemptions provided from such an obligation are restrictively mentioned within legal framework.
