After establishing a company in Japan and meeting other requirements, you can first obtain a Business Manager or Highly Skilled Professional (HSP) status. With either status of residence, you can live and work in Japan. Furthermore, if a company has stable sales, profits, assets, etc., pays income tax appropriately, and participates in social insurance and pension systems, it is possible to apply for permanent residence as early as one year after acquiring HSP.
