What is the procedure for Palestinian nationals to join relatives in Canada?
I'm looking to join relatives in Canada as it was announced we would now be able to do that because of the war crisis here. I'm currently at the border with Egypt and once it opens I'll be on the way to Cairo. My question is, does Canada's embassy in Cairo or Canadian authorities in general help with the travel expenses or how does it work?

The Canadian government has implemented a temporary public policy in response to the conflict between Hamas and Israel. This policy aims to assist Israeli nationals and Palestinian Territory passport holders currently in Canada under temporary status. These individuals may face challenges returning home due to the ongoing crisis. The policy allows eligible foreign nationals to apply for study permits and/or open work permits, enabling them to move between temporary resident streams and support themselves in Canada during the conflict.
