Multiple-entry individual tourist visas may be issued to those Chinese travelers who have a sufficient level of financial capability and their family members. It is said that 200,000 yuan in annual income is required. It may also be issued to those who have travel records to enter Japan twice or more in the last three years with certain categories of an individual tourist visa (a group tour visa and temporary visa, known as a tokudai, are excluded) and show 100,000 yuan in annual income.
