What is your advice to Ukrainians looking to settle down in Monaco?

There are no specific procedures for Ukrainians looking to settle down in Monaco; however, each case will be studied carefully by the relevant authorities and will be dealt with on its merits. There is no residency by investment program as such, although there is a requirement for residence applicants to have either employment in Monaco, or to show that they have adequate funds in a Monaco bank to support themselves whilst living in Monaco. In accordance with the wishes expressed by the Prince, the Monaco Government is actively assisting Ukrainian refugees. Ukrainian nationals, like other non-EU nationals, would normally be required to apply for a Visa D via the French consulate where they are currently resident. In exceptional circumstances, such as the current crisis in Ukraine, it is possible to make a request to apply directly in Monaco instead.
