I am interested in Vanuatu’s program but heard about changes to the “honorary” citizenship status given to citizenship-by-investment applicants. What is changing? How do these changes affect future applicants and those who already have the passports?

From the time the amendment to the law is published, all applicants will be citizens with full rights. The change does not have any effect on the rights of Vanuatu citizens who previously obtained citizenship.
