I’ve heard investors, and immigrants in general, have a better chance of getting their permanent residency application processed quickly if they apply in particular provinces like Ontario these days. How much would my choice of a Canadian province affect my application?

All provinces have PNP except Quebec which also has specific programs. There is no investor program in Canada at this time. Entrepreneur programs are available in some provinces.
