Joana Torres Fernandes is a Portuguese lawyer specializing in immigration and nationality law. She is a Partner at L.V.P. Advogados, a Lisbon-based law firm advising private clients, families, investors and companies across a broad range of practice areas, including immigration, nationality, tax, real estate, corporate, litigation, employment, family and succession law.

Torres’ practice focuses on assisting international clients with Portuguese immigration and nationality matters, as well as related real estate, corporate, and civil law issues. She has advised clients from more than 60 countries and has extensive experience in residence and citizenship processes, including D7 Visas, Golden Visas, D2 Visas, residence permits, nationality by descent, nationality by marriage and nationality by residence.

Before joining L.V.P. Advogados, Torres gained professional experience at General Motors, Albuquerque & Associados and CCA Law Firm.
