I would like to invest in a property in Osaka and turn it into an Airbnb business. Could this qualify me for a resident permit in Japan?

As a non-Japanese citizen, you can purchase a property in Japan from overseas. The investment to buy real estate can fulfill one of the requirements to apply for a Business Manager work status. You need to have a business office in Japan in addition to your house to rent for a short stay with a feasible plan. The owner of the house is required to have a local
governmental permission to engage in tourist cabin business too.
