Does Greece have any health requirements for its Golden Visa applicants?

I want to bring my family to Greece but one of my sons has health complications. Is he ineligible? Does Greece have any conditions that preclude an applicant, such as being HIV positive?

You just need private insurance for hospitalization and medical care in Greece.

Every applicant, among the documentation submitted in the application for his resident permit for real estate owners and his family members, must provide also the following documents: certification by an insurance agency for the cost of hospitalization and medical care, according to the minimum required provisions of the law. To certify that this condition is fulfilled, the following are alternatively accepted: insurance contracts which have been signed outside Greece, provided that they explicitly mention that they cover the interested party for the duration of their stay in Greece; insurance contracts which have been signed in Greece. When the applicant signs the contract application he declares, upon his own responsibility, his own personal health details and the insurance company proceeds to the issuance of the contract or not, depending on its policy. So there is no restriction or exclusion from the law for cases as mentioned.

The only provision is to issue a visa from any Schengen embassy. After this, we can proceed smoothly. About the application, we need private insurance. We can declare it to the insurance company or not. If not, the insurance fee is
very little (around 100 euros per year), but you will not have any real claim against the insurance company. Generally speaking, the government just asks for the private insurance, which we can provide.
