Does the renewal of the Hungary visa require physical presence?

Please be informed that the extension of the residence permit is only possible if you are a holder of a valid residence permit for guest investors at the time of the application submission. The application should be submitted online via a government portal at least 30 days prior to the expiry date. At this moment, proof of physical presence is not required, only the following: - proof of investment - proof of place of accommodation - valid passport - photo However, we must note that 10 years is a long time; the renewal rules might change in the future.
