I’m a visual artist and photographer who just finished a residency at the cite des arts in Paris. I’m now looking into moving my art practice to the UAE and I wonder how can I approach applying for a golden visa as an accomplished artist – does such a thing exist? If not, what other types of visas can I get to move there easily?

In order for you to be selected as an artist for golden visa, first the responsible committee needs to approve you and nominate you. Once we have the approval, we can proceed with the residency application process. For the first step, your comprehensive portfolio and your awards and
degrees must all be presented. Be cautious that in many cases we need to provide the Arabic translation.
