Would our stay-in nanny qualify to be included in our passport application as she travels with my family all the time? Would I have to pay an extra fee to include her?
Answers
She cannot be added to your application as she is not your dependent. She must apply on her own and you may sponsor her application.
She would have to apply as a single applicant. It’s not possible to add her into your family application. Assuming she doesn’t have the funds to pay herself, you could be her sponsor for the application.
Currently under the Grenada Citizenship by Investment act, the following family members can be included within one application: main applicant; spouse; unmarried dependent children of main applicant under 30; unmarried dependent children of spouse under 30; unmarried siblings of main applicant with no children; unmarried siblings of spouse with no children; parents of main applicant; parents of spouse; grandparents of main applicant; grandparents of spouse. Therefore, should you wish to include your nanny, and they do not fall into any of the above categories, it would involve a separate application.
