No, residence permit applications are not often rejected. If the applicant meets the criteria of the law and submits all the required documents, there is no such option. In any case of rejection, you are entitled to appeal the decision by addressing your case to a lawyer, experienced in such business areas.
As a rule, the appeal must be in writing and signed and state the reason for your appeal. The Immigration Appeals Board is the competent authority, which will consider it.
