I have a friend who has a great property in St. Kitts that I want to buy and also apply for citizenship, but it’s not in a government approved development for CBI. Is there a way around that? Can we apply for government approval for an existing property?

Approval can certainly be obtained for an existing property once it meets the requirements.

All properties under the citizenship by investment program must be approved by the board prior to any application being made based on that property.
