My boyfriend obtained residence in Italy through the startup visa option last year. He currently has no dependents, but we are planning to get married soon. Can I also obtain the right to reside in Italy through his visa once we get married? Will I need to apply separately, or what steps will I need to take?

Family members, including spouses, of holders of an Investor visa may apply for a family member residence permit according to art. 30 of L.D. 286/98 - the application can be filed only after the marriage is finalized and duly registered.
