I’m a sustainability sciences student with top grades in my home country. I have conducted research that I think will be beneficial to the economy and climate of the UAE, so I want to be able to apply for a golden visa and launch my idea there. Is this possible or do I have to be nominated? Can my university nominate me?

This is for the UAE graduates and students. You might be eligible as an entrepreneur or start up founder in case there is: (i) approval of the startup idea from an official "business incubator" or from the UAE Ministry of Economy; (ii) approval from Dubai Future Authority that the project is of a technical or future nature. Plus proof of home ownership or rental, valid health insurance.
