I bought a house in Kefalonia, Greece for 130,000 euros, but want to build an additional story for 125,000 euros. Can I combine these figures for the Greek Golden Visa’s 250,000 euro threshold?

Golden Visa residence permits can be granted to third country citizens who purchase plots of land or acreage and erect a building. The following additional documents must be submitted: Contract for the purchase of the plot of land or acreage (according to the rules of Immigration Law); contract with the construction company for the erection/restoration of the residence, which has been submitted to the tax office according to the law; building permit in the name of the applicant; invoices by the contractors and the corresponding proofs of payment.
