How does Spanish language proficiency affect work visa eligibility in Panama?

If I get a job offer from a local company to work in Panama, would I qualify for the work visa given that I have no Spanish knowledge?

Immigration office won't ask for Spanish skills. It won't affect your work visa.

Spanish proficiency is not required for residency applications in Panama. This is though a requirement for citizenship applications.
