I am interested in applying for permanent residency in the United Arab Emirates through investment. I understand that residents are exempt from many types of taxes in the UAE. What about my foreign income? How will my foreign income be taxed?

There is no income tax in Dubai. You can never become a permanent resident of the UAE. You may invest in millions of dollars, and you will be entitled to a temporary residency visa that is renewable every two to three years, depending upon your visa category.
