I’m in the process of applying for a family reunification visa but have been told to expect delays because of the strike. How much delay is it likely to cause, because I need to be in Canada very soon with family?

Processing of applications would resume after the strike ends. I am afraid that you have no choice but to wait indefinitely, since no one can predict when the strike could end.
