I understand that to apply for a start-up visa in Canada, I have to pitch my business idea to an organization and obtain a letter of support. How long is the letter valid for? How should I plan the timeline of my application?

Both processes should be started at the same time: it may take
approximately five months to get the letter of support, and an extra eight months to get permanent residency (PR). Within those eight months for PR processing, it is possible to get
a work permit and come earlier to Canada to implement the business plan.
