The project law approved is not yet an effective law. But it should be soon, and then it will take a few months for the regulations to be imposed. Currently, no disposition on residency by investment has been made on this matter. Note that Panama does not have citizenship by investment programs.

Once Panama’s crypto assets law is enforced, an applicant will be able to buy property and even pay fees and expenses in cryptocurrency, indeed.
