I will study in Italy next year. I plan to bring my two kids (both under 5 years old) and my Mom to accompany them. What type of visa is required for them? Once I have my student visa, is it possible to apply from my country of residence (non-EU) so we can travel together?

Holders of student visas and residence permits having a duration of at least 1 year have the possibility to sponsor a family visa and residence permit for their dependents (spouses, minor children and parents over 65 years of age under certain conditions).
