I had a spouse visa that expired Feb 26, 2024. I did not renew it because I was in the USA. I left Japan on July 25, 2023, for a one-year assignment with Google USA. When I left Japan, I did obtain a special re-entry permission stamp on my passport. I plan to return to Japan on September 10, 2024. In October, we will be married for six years. What problems will I have re-entering Japan? What must I do to get my spouse’s Visa renewed as quickly as possible? Google Japan would like me to start working for them soon.

Judging from the information in your question, it is not possible to restore, reinstate, or renew your spouse's residence status.
However, if you are living with your Japanese wife in Japan,
you can easily obtain your spouse status again from scratch, either by changing your residence status from a temporary
visitor or by applying for a Certificate of Eligibility COE).
