What options do foreign remote workers and entrepreneurs looking to start a new business have in Cyprus?

I’ve heard the government is planning a new program for entrepreneurs seeking permanent residency in Cyprus. When is this expected and what will be the criteria? Would I be able to get permanent residency as a digital nomad?
